8th Graders Participate on an Auschwitz Field Trip

Recently, our 8th graders went on a field trip to the Auschwitz traveling exhibit in Boston. This visit was based on their unit in the book "Night" by Elie Wiesel. As they walked through the museum, they were able to see photos, videos, and artifacts from the Holocaust. The students were respectful as they viewed the exhibits and listened to stories of those who suffered and passed away in the concentration camp. The trip helped the students to better understand the impact of the Holocaust. It was a powerful experience that will stay with them for years to come.
