Downward dogs, forward folds, and of course paying attention to the breath! The 7th grade Yoga Elective got to practice all they’ve learned about yoga this past year in a private class at Down Under School of Yoga in Cambridge during a recent field trip. Led by a certified instructor, students got to experience their yoga practice in a huge studio all to themselves, complete with blocks, blankets, and other props to help them get into yoga poses. They had fun flowing through sun salutations, standing and seated poses and savasana (five minutes of still relaxation at the end). “I feel so relaxed now!” said Atqiya Fairooz after her practice.
