Friends of Vassal Lane and 8th Graders Bring in the Dough at Election Day Bake Sale
On Election Day, November 4, the voters at the Lexington Avenue Fire Station were rewarded for
casting their votes with the opportunity to purchase wonderful treats in support of the 8th Graders’
year end trip to New York City. Over $530 was raised, as was community awareness about our
school! Many of the voters who stopped to buy treats were unaware that Vassal Lane Upper
School is just a few blocks away.
